The Hebrew word ""gibbor" is also translated giant.
1 Samuel 17:4
And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
How tall is that?
How large was his spear? 1 Samuel 17:7
And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
Why in Numbers 13 did the spies feel as though they were grasshoppers compared to the size of them?
The Bible is full of accounts of Israel dealing with hybrids. Genesis. 6:4 says, "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that." They are also referred to as Rephaim, Annunaki (sons of Annuk), Emim, Zamzummim, "also after that" is referring to the Nephilim who were again found in the land of Canaan Numbers:13:33, "And there we saw giants, the sons of Annak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, so we were in their sight." The word Nephilim means "violent" "causing to fall" "wonder" "prodigies" or "monsters"
When fallen angels shape-shift into a form of human being they can have intercourse but not without some aberrant genetic changes. The union of these beasts with humans produced children that were different in many ways. The first apparent difference was that they developed giantism. They were giants or Nephilim. Og the King of Bashan had a bed that was 13 to 15 feet long; and Goliath was 6 cubits tall (9 feet). The second aberration was that they had six fingers and six toes.

"That was also regarded as a land of giants, giants formerly dwelt there. but the Ammonites call them the Zamzumin, a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim.
But the Lord destroyed them before them, and they dispossessed them and dwelt in their place..." Deuteronomy 2:20-21.
~The GIANTS were inhabitants on earth from the earliest days of old. There's numerous references to the land of the giants in the Bible, and throughout ancient myths and history from nearly every culture of antiquity. They lived on earth at the same time the Sons of God came down and mated with the daughters of men.. [Gen. 6] Many of these children were also of giant stature and many were barbaric and cruel, after these beings inhabited earth for a time they corrupted their ways even further by mating with the animals,bringing forth the incredible creatures we view in ancient myth.
Reguardless of what you've learned in history class or in archaeology, many skeletons have been found. There is documented evidence of this however no one knows where they are now.
Otherwise here's what the Bible says:
1 Samuel 17:13, And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
Goliath was roughly 9 and a half feet tall and by the armour and weaponry he carried he had to be pretty darn strong. But it doesn't end here. Goliath also had a brother.
2 Samuel 21:19-22, And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a waever's beam.
And there was yet a battle in gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him. These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
And another which is written almost identicaly
1 Chronicles 20:6-8, And yet again there was war in gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
In the Bible there is no one described with haveing double rows of teeth but the many of the skeletons that have been found were described with haveing this along with the 12 fingers and the 12 toes.
I don't think anybody doubts that Goliath was a real giant, and not just a bully. His physical height is given in 1Sam 17:4 as 6 cubits and a span, roughly 9 feet tall. The same verse calls him Goliath of Gath.
Joshua 11:22 There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.
Who were the Anakim? They were descendants of Anak.
Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants (nephilim), the sons of Anak, [which come] of the giants (nephilim): and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
...and Goliath was a midget compared to Og king of bashan
Deut. 3:11 Only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaites. His bed [ Or sarcophagus ] was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide. [ Hebrew nine cubits long and four cubits wide (about 4 meters long and 1.8 meters wide) ] It is still in Rabbah of the Ammonites.)
