2003
MGR Group, the manufacturer of Gold Karts have released the following information with regards the 2003 range of karts.
The first change you would have noticed is the new style logo. This is obviously a step to improve their image.
We have been privileged to receive files with some of the changes. One of the files has a 3D kart which you can rotate to any position.
This file is now on line. To view, click on the Documents page in left margin and then below the folder named Carenature 2003, click on the file "go kart final. htm". You only need to click on this file. When loaded you can click on the kart and rotate it to any position. A picture of the new bodywork can be seen at the bottom of this page.
18-01-2003. There will be 6 different models of each new chassis as follows: ECO 100, SPORT 100, RACING 100, RACING PRO 100, SPORT 125 & RACING 125. Each model will have the New Tripmatic brake system as standard. The front calipers have been modified and the piston sizes have increased from 14 and 17mm. to 17 and 19mm. All calipers are now manufactured with Ergal and this has increased the strength by 50%. The Specifications can be viewed in the 2003 Spec folder on the Documents page.

3 New Models for 2003
We have received the diagrams for 3 New Models. They will be known by numbers instead of names. Pictured below are the 3 models. You will notice quite a few changes. Very interesting, just hope they perform as well if not better than the current models. I am sure we will not be disappointed.
Features: Front, side and rear torsion bars.
This replaces the Thunderbolt.
The front, middle and rear bars are all 32mm. The side rails are 30mm.
Features: Side and rear torsion bars.
This chassis replaces the Eyrie.
All the tubing on this model is 30mm.
Features: Front, side and rear torsion bars.
Replaces the Firefox.
All tubing is 32mm. except inside rear disc tube which is 30mm.
Gold Kart have discontinued the current models but customers are reminded that spares will still be available. Gold have pointed out that current models can still be used at International events during 2003.
