> most people believe that cyndaquil is the best choice for a starter pokemon, but the best choice is really totodile. I'll tell you why later
Azalea town
>if you caught a mareep on your way here, level it up until it learns an electric attack. it will come in handy when battling Bugsy's scyther
>level up a pidgey. its flying type attacks are good against bugs. a spearow would work as well, but I prefer pidgey
> dont try to level up a slowpoke from the well. there will be much better psychic and water types coming up soon in the game
> if you didn't read this page before you started the game and chose chikorita, box it right away. it doesn't do well in the next few gyms, or in any gym for that matter
