Ash is the main character in the television show. He travels around having various adventures with Misty, Brock or Tracey and his faithful pokémon Pikachu who is also his best friend. He is brave, courageous, and sometimes stubborn. At times he can be very stupid and immature but luckily there is always someone there to advice him and guide him in the right direction.
Ash's Pokémon
Pikachu
Pikachu is Ash's most powerful and prized pokémon, not to mention his best friend. Pikachu can speak to other pokémon and also communicate with humans, so is very smart. His most powerful attack is Thunder and uses it a lot. Since Pikachu is so powerful, he is constantly trying to be caught by Team Rocket, but he usually manages to get away.
Bulbasaur
Ash got Bulbasaur after helping a girl save her pokémon from Team Rocket. After this Bulbasaur trusted Ash and went with him. Bulbasaur had the chance to evolve into Ivysaur but didn't want to so stayed as the lovable frog like Bulbasaur
Squirtle
Squirtle decided to go with Ash after being in the Squirtle Squad but Ash helped the Squirtle after the gang was attacked by Team Rocket. It is a very cute and lovable pokémon.
Charmander
Ash got Charmander after it was abandoned by its trainer. It was left in the rain and helped back to recovery by Ash, Brock,Misty and Nurse Joy.
Charmeleon
Ash's Charmander evolved into Charmeleon in The March Of Exeggcutor Squad. He evolved to help Ah defeat the Exeggcutors and therefore the magician who wanted to steal all of Ash's Pokémon
Charizard
Ash's Charmeleon evolved into Charizard in the attack of the prehistoric pokémon so he could help Ash escape from a Aerodactyl that had captured him. Charizard does not obey Ash until the recent epiodses.
Krabby
Ash caught Krabby by Bill’s lighthouse. As he has no pokémon with him he used a stick and a pokéball to catch it. He is then shocked by the pokéball disappearing, but of course he is only allowed to carry 6 pokémon at a time.
Kingler
Muk
Ash captures Muk in Gringy City. He is head of a pack of Grimers that are stopping the Power Plant. Pikachu and his new friend Magnemite defeat the Muk while the Magnemite’s team of Magnetons defeat the Grimers. This allows Ash to capture Muk and add it to him collection.
