The Junior Order Knights of Pythias, as a recognized auxiliary of the Fraternal Order Knights of Pythias, is an organization which affords preliminary training in the principles of Fraternity for our youth, ages 12-17, as exemplified by the parent order.

The cardinal principles of the Junior Order are Friendship, Leadership and Citizenship. But the object of the Junior Order goes further than that. The Order has been created to help a select youth prepare itself for the duties of Leadership in adult life.

This Junior Order of the Knights of Pythias is located in Toronto, Ontario and its officers were officially installed on November 28, 2002. 

Haig Chapter # 1 currently has 24 members.  

Volunteer Activities:  Baycrest Bingo, Cummer Lodge Musical Entertainment, Hendon Seniors' Centre teaching seniors use of computers, Entertainers of the Wagman Centre, School Recycling Team, etc.
