Grand Chancellor's Visit
Grand Chancellor Sir Daniel Doctor from Ottawa made his official visit to Rokeby Lodge # 9 in Wallaceburg on September 6, 2005. A fish fry was held in his honour prior to the meeting. Congratulations go out to Chief Cook Randy Olah and his staff for all their hard work preparing a wonderful meal for all to enjoy. Click here to view some pictures courtesy of Brother Bob.
Knights of Pythias Christmas Parade
Once again we hosted our annual Christmas Parade. The Knights have been in the parade business for over twenty-five years. This year’s parade was one hour in length from start to finish. Along with the parade the Knights hosted their annual parade party for the mentally challenged from the Southwestern Regional Centre. The residents and their helpers and staff were treated to hot dogs, sandwiches and alpha getties along with a visit from Santa and a small gift. If you ever want to find the true spirit of Christmas visit the Orkeby Hall on parade day.

Car Wash
The members of Rokeby Lodge # 9 held a Car Wash on Saturday September 11, 2004. The weather was fantastic and we able to raise $170.00 which will offset the costs of hosting the Santa Claus parade in November. Take a look at the fun we had!
In August the Knights were manning a booth in the towns biggest summer
event W.A.M.B.O. This stands for Wallaceburg Antique Car and Motor Boat Outing. This event is the largest in the area bringing in over 12,000 people for the weekend. The Knights set up a booth with our banner and sold hot dogs, hamburgers and pop for the day. The sisters worked the kitchen at the hall and the Knights manned the booth on the street. Proceeds to various projects. This event gave us a chance to put our name front and centre in the community.
Golf Tournament
The Annual Golf Tournament that was held on July at the Baldoon Golf Club was a huge success with all funds raised at this event going to the doctors' recuitment fund in Chatham-Kent.
B.I.A. Summerfest B.B.Q.
In July our members manned a B.B.Q. at the B.I.A. Summerfest Program. We managed to get some public exposure as well raise a little funds to help keep our programs going.
