| Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias Domain of Ontario "If fraternal love held all men bound, how beautiful this world would be." Welcome, As the Grand Secretary for the Grand Lodge of Ontario, I welcome you to view this web site for an opportunity to see what our Pythian Brothers and Sisters are up to in Ontario. Our Lodges in Ontario continue to support and sponsor many worthy charitable and community programs and groups. Our members are actively involved in these programs and their activities are directed toward service to mankind by enhancing our principals of Friendship, Charity and Benevolence. The Pythian Organization consists of the Supreme Lodge, the Grand Lodge and the Subordinate Lodge. There are three recognized auxiliaries to the Knights of Pythias and they are: The Pythian Sisters, The Dramatic Order of Knights of Khorassan and the Junior Order Knights of Pythias. The Pythian Sisters is a non-sectarian organization dedicated to the betterment of the individual, the community and their country. Their organization provides opportunities for their members to help themselves and others grow through the principles of Purity, Love, Equality, and Fidelity. The Pythian Sisters here in Ontario continue to support many worthy charitable organizations. The Pythian Sisters which is an independent auxiliary of the Order of the Knights of Pythias consists of the Supreme Temple, the Grand Temple and the Subordinate Temple. The Dramatic Order Knights of Khorassan is the "playground" of the Fraternal Order. Its mission, in addition to conducting substantial altruistic work, is to encourage a more intimate Pythian acquaintance and closer brotherhood. There is currently one temple in Ontario and that is Kathundra Temple # 25 which is located in Thunder Bay. The Junior Order Knights of Pythias, as a recognized auxiliary of the Fraternal Order Knights of Pythias, is an organization which affords preliminary training in the principles of Fraternity for our youth, ages 12-17, as exemplified by the parent order. Haig Chapter # 1 is located in Toronto, Ontario and is sponsored by Judaea Lodge # 52.
