Why we are here

GGLL was opened to try and help the rehoming and welfare of greyhounds and lurchers and any other sighthounds or hound crosses.  It is a site for useful information about these wonderful dogs and also to help try and rehome dogs all around the UK (or indeed the world - but one step at a time!).  We are here to offer/find advice and information on grey/lurcher/ sighthound care, behaviour and rehoming organisations.  The site hopes to bring together rescue centres and fosterers, and prospective homes.  We are not here to promote greyhound racing, coursing, hunting, breeders or anyone else taking advantage or making money out of these wonderful pets.

We are not a pro hunting or pro racing site. GG&LL will always be open to anyone with a hound BUT blood sports, pro hunting or pro racing conversations are not suitable topics for this site. Any such threads will be deleted.

We can not however run this site totally alone, we rely on information and advice from our members, pictures, stories and much more.  We are simply here to provide the link between all grey and lurcher lovers!
