This game is totally ultimate if you are a die-hard Godzilla: The Series fan. If your not, then it doesn't offer too much. The game is based after selected episodes (New Family, What Dreams May Come) and it ties them together. The ultimate goal of the game is to reach Cameron Winters HQ (Solstice Technologies) and destroy it.
Tiny bullets from choppers and foot soldiers inflict serious damage, but Godzilla's health meter constantly regenerates Taking up well over half of the screen, Godzilla sets a new record as the largest playable character to ever appear on Game Boy Color. Players must help Godzilla stomp through 12 unique levels, overcoming six mutated bosses along the way.
Godzilla storms automatically through side-scrolling levels. You cannot control the his pace, but you can direct its fireballs, foot stomps and other offensive attacks. As you progress through the game, you'll learn more moves to help Godzilla incapacitate ill-intentioned humans and destructive bosses straight from the television show. I think it is supposed to simulate that Godzilla is young in the beginning and is maturing as you progress through the game.
Members of the HEAT team try their best to add comic relief between stages, but unless you have seen the T.V. show, you will probablly be totally lost.
