It would be very cool to pay respect to DC's original heroes, by having the legendary classic Justice Society members give their blessing to the next generation of heroes, all leading to the first gathering of the Justice League with original members including Superman, Batman, Flash Barry Allen, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and the Martian Manhunter

The original Flash Jay Garrick, and the original Green Lantern Alan Scott could see team action first and would get first the invitation to join the Justice League from Superman and Batman, but out of loyalty to their own long time legendary team the Justice Society, both would respectfully decline, but at the same time point out towards the next generation with strong recommendation for this new Flash Barry Allen and this new very different Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and still have a hand in the creation of the team



Looking at Superman Returns which was very cool, I couldn't help to think in certain scenes where original Justice Leaguers would have fitted right in perfectly, like in some strange way, despite their complete absence, the movie still made us think about them

That scene in the city where Superman was a bit taken by surprise and overwhelmed with all the chaos everywhere around, I imagined the Flash Barry Allen running in and lending a much needed helping hand

And also Green Lantern Hal Jordan overhead shielding innocents bellow from buildings falling glass and debris

And that scene with Superman unconscious sinking to the bottom of the ocean, where I was waiting for Aquaman to swim in to the rescue

Or with Superman affected by Kryptonite taking a severe beating, I was hopping to see Batman raining down from the sky with a little tactical Bat-Jet air support; I would have love to have seen Lex's face then

And in the end the Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman not affected by Kryptonite, helping Superman to push that gigantic piece of rock into space
