I am unemployed because its hard to find a good job to support me and my son and I have no permanate place to stay. I am back in forth from house and I just want to settle down with my baby. I cant afford no place with 300$ per month from child support and section 8 are not accepting any more applications. I cry most of the time because i just want to be happy. Hello,

I am in desperate need of a home, as soon as possible.  I am married, with 3 small children all under the age of six, and a fourth due any day.  We are currently about to be evicted from our current home, due to problems with our landlord, and have until the 31rst of this month to find a new place to live.  Our credit is a bit messed up, due to the fact that my husband was out of work for 6 months, and we recieved no money what so ever during that time.  My husband is working now, but our problem is being able to find a place that will over look our history. We've tried everything, but it looks as if we're going to end up homeless if something doesn't happen soon.  Please help! I am desperate. If you have anything, please feel free to email me at Tina_Shull@hotmail.com Thank you.

I'm looking for a place for very low rent in the Towson area. Where I can have privacy for both me(29) and my husband(30). We keep to ourselves.Never done drugs or alcohol. No smoking. No children or pets. Both of us are ex-military and have injuries and disabilities that are keeping us from finding work in the area. we both receive very low disability from the military. $75 a mo each. We've been homeless for a year and need to get off the streets. I am working hard to get SSDI and a higher Disability rating from military. Husband has already been denied and is unable to pursue further rating increase or jobs due to his disabilities. We need a base of operations to work from and get off the streets. I have already had one heart attack while out on the streets, my husband is getting worse with a pinched nerve in his back. Please contact me at the email address if there is an opertunity for a place that could help us out of our situation.

Hi, i am a 25 yr old recent leg amputee, myself, my grandma and my sister and her b/f are looking for a house or apartment to rent in baltimore, preferably with someone who is willing to work with us because of not so good/no credit issues. 3 of us are on fixed income, and my sisters b/f will be employed as soon as we have a home, we have been staying with an ex-friend who is now wanting to throw us out, she has tried her hardest, she turned off the phone, so we have no way to call anyone unless at a pay phone, the cable is in my name which is how i am on the internet, we have to be out by the first week of august, and no apartment management companies approve us, so we need to rent from a private owner who again is willing to work with us. until we have a stable home, i cannot start my prostectic leg therapy, so plz someone help if possible, you can email my sister kimberly @ kenderbabe@yahoo.com thx Stacy

Hello,

My name is Cory Perkins and I live in Baltimore City.  Currently, I am looking for a position with a non-profit orginazation.  My academic background is in education and training, but I am so much more than just a great teacher.  I have just completed my first semester of graduate school at Coppin State University.  My field of study is Human Services Administration with a conscentration in counseling.  The combination of formal education, practical life experience, transferable skills and a genuine love for people will make me an asset to any facility or program.

I am a professional with a wealth of experience.  I have been in the education field for six years.  After earning my bachelors degree in Special Education from Coppin State University, I taught fourth and fifth grade in the Baltimore City Public School System.  I later taught basic adult education and GED prep courses at Baltimore City Community College and the Greater Homewood Community Corporation.

I have also acted as both job developer and retention counselor in a number of volunteer capacities.  As a memeber of Christopher's Place Employment Academy, I have worked closely with people from various backgrounds helping them to find work and preparing them for GED exams.  I can tutor one-on-one or in small groups.  I have also  conducted workshops on resume writing, dressing for success and internet job search techniques.  I have also done some case management with homeless men.

I am a highly dedicated professional with skills in many different areas.  I multi-task quite well and am willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.  If you know of a place where my skills can be put to good use or if you are an HR person in a shelter or non-profit, please contact me at cperkins06@hotmail.com.  I have a resume on line that I can email for your convenience.  Thank you.

This is for those that are, or know who are, making affordable housing available FOR RENT. This listing may also be used if you or someone you knowhas a place to stay (if this is the case, you may want to put your msg. in the SHELTER msg. bd. too). If you have comments about a particular housing location, please try to have a civil tongue, whether or not the "!*x,# :( *!" landlord does. Thanks
