I am in the midst of Stroking it. 103" SE make-it-yourself kit since Harley doesn't have a 103" kit for a 2005. Bassani True Duals, SE Cams, Heads, etc. Should be done this week. I am also having the tanks redone to match the 1981 low Rider... the ORIGINAL Dragon... to compliment the front fender work. It was going on the dyno yesterday...

Maura Hall Carper

|
The racing world has lost a cherished friend. Maura Hall Carper passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2007 after a heroic battle with cancer.Maura was a treasured lady in the racing community and will be missed by the many people she touched throughout her joyful life. Words From Maura I guess for all of us who have raced, we' will never forget the first pass. The anticipation, the excitement, and the adrenaline build up until you think you'll explode, - then you release the clutch, and the tire chirps, and the tunnel vision sets in. For just those brief seconds everything around you disappears. It is just you, the bike, and the track. The euphoria that sets in is almost indescribable. All the pressures of everyday life are gone, everyone is equal, and for just a short period of time you are truly living in the moment. How many times in life can we really say we did that? Neither life nor death can break the ties that bind us. Hold onto your faith, listen to your heart and know that there are no real endings, just new beginnings. All of us have gifts, some of us practice those gifts daily, I am one of them and I hope that what I've learned can help you in some way. Blessings, Maura. Taken from the AHDRA website

Mike was a "STAR" in my life (he was my first cousin, he was 44 years old), one good human being and family man (left a wife and 2-kids). A drunk (David Troy Cush) killed him on HWY 44 going west just after Camino Real turn off. David Troy Cush made an illegal U-Turn on the 2-lane HWY right in front of him and his wife (riding a Softtail Standard). His wife sustained a broken right leg which has a "rod" in it and Mike died of a torn Aorta due to impact into a truck at 8:23PM on Sept. 21, 2007 coming from celebrating there 21 anniversay in Reno for the "Steet Vibrations). I hope this guy (David Troy Cush) gets charged with murder! Arraignment is on 11/2/07. Hang him! Ride free in Heaven Mike.

The Man I could only dream of growing up to be past away. For he was my grand-father that could and did do any thing he wanted . His last ride was anole 45 flat-head basket case . He was most known for his air-plane he built with his own two hands. Soon I'll be flying it for him as he had hoped to see . As I remember him the word's on his stone will always bring a smile to my face " STILL FLYING" . I only hope I make you proud Pepe' .

I am Brad's ex-wife and he was my best friend. We lost our oldest son on his Harley Oct. 19,2002. We were both recovering from that blow, when Brad was taken suddenly with a Heart Attack. He was the best friend anyone could ever have. He would never let you down. He had a genious mind that could figure out anything technical. He loved restoring his old pickup truck. It is now a show truck. He was always trying out new paint patterns on his Harley and his truck. He loved his children and grandchildren, and he will be missed so very much. My love, my best friend, you are with our son now, both of you RIDE FREE! I love both of you! Carol
