In our continuing effort to improve your surfing pleasure here at HTT, your friendly HTT Management Team has come up with this list of common problems we are asked about. Before you email managers at HTT, please follow these guidelines in attempting to address your issues. - Excessive E-mail: Check that your member settings are set for "Read messages on the web" HTT receives an extremely high amount of traffic, and if messages are sent to your in-box, it WILL be flooded. HTT Managers have no control over this, and the only way we can correct it is by deleting out the account. This will also remove the ability to post and respond by the account in question. If you accidently selected "Send messages to email", please go to your member settings by clicking this link http://groups.msn.com/harleytechtalk/_tools.msnw select "View your member profile" and change your settings to "Read on the web" and allow a day or two for the changes to take effect and all the messages that were in queue to work thru the system.
- Requests for help: HTT Managers work strictly on a voluntary basis. We do not have the time or capabilty to always answer individual emails concerning requests on how to fix something. Also, by addressing the post strictly to the Managers, you are losing out on the decades of cummulative experience that is available on the board. Please post requests for help in the approriate forum, and take advantage of the experience that is available here.
- Requests for donations from members, raffles, etc.: HTT CANNOT sponsor, condone, or allow requests/posts of this kind. Postings announcing a charity run, memorial ride, etc ARE allowed. But solicitations from HTT members ARE NOT, AND ALL SUCH POSTS WILL BE REMOVED!! PLEASE DO NOT ASK!
- Items for sale: HTT maintains a "Swap Meet" page for members that have Harley related items for sale, as well as those that are looking for items. Please limit items for sale to the Swap Meet section. "Trolling" advertisements on the General, or other Forums will be removed, along with the poster's access to HTT. HTT Management makes no claim as to the items for sale, and assumes no responsibilty concering Items offered for sale or purchased from the Swap Meet page.
- Photo Albums: HTT Maintains Photo Albums in two locations, OFOPOS and HTT Photos II, please use one of those links if you wish to create a photo album.
If the previous list does not address your problem, then please click the following link to email the HTT Management Team. Thank you; HTT Management Team http://groups.msn.com/harleytechtalk/email
