Hazak in New Zealand

My name is Andrea Meech.  I was born in New Zealand in 1972.   I began this site in the hope that we may discover family members abroad. 

My grandmother, Simone Hazak (mother's mother) was born on 21 November 1925 in Cairo, Egypt.  She met Lloyd William Murrell and moved to New Zealand to be his wife in 1946.  Lloyd (my grandfather) was in Cairo as part of 8th Army Artilery for New Zealand.  

My grandmother's father,  Lazare Hazak soon followed (approx. 1948) and not long after that Simone's sister's Denise & Edmee Hazak and their mother Marie (Nelly) Hazak.  Bertrand (Kino) Hazak (Simone's brother) arrived in New Zealand in 1970 from Argentina with his wife Wanda and daughter Nelly. 

Denise Hazak married Ralph Cahn, but they never had children.

Edmee Hazak never married and passed away in 19** after a short battle with cancer.

Kino delveloped Alziemer's diesease and passed away 19**

Simone Hazak still lives in Auckland.  She has two children, Lester Murrell, who married Victoria and Verna Nelly Murrell, who married Don Campbell (my parents).  Don and Verna had Andrea (me) and Tanya Campbell.
