"Meals on Wheels" in Broward County, FL realized that many of the senior citizens utilizing their program were sharing their meals with their pets. In an effort to support these clients, Broward Meals on Wheels has instituted the "Meals for Pet" program. Food for the pets has been donated by local business establishments and a group of dedicated volunteers, procure the pet food and repack it for "Meals on Wheels" to give to their clients. Truly, this is a noble cause and volunteers in the FRSW region must see that it becomes a reality in our area.
