Deus Ex: The ConspiracyBy EIDOS. Description DEUS EX:THE CONSPIRACY, is a 1st person 3D action adventure game that immerses the player inan intricate web of betrayal and intrigue. As J.C. Denton, a rookie anti-terrorist agent, travel the globe building a network of allies and create an alter identity to aid you in your search for the truth. Incorporating the best elements of role-playing, action, adventure, and 1st person shooter genres, Deus Ex hosts a chaotic story world of conspiracies, cliffhangers and plot twists fueling a paranoia that will keep you guessing every step of the way. fav reviews: penguintoyz (08/02/02) One of the best games available for the PS2. I would have to rank this in my top ten of all time video games. There are some drawbacks as the graphics are only average and the combat system takes a little getting used to but that is it. You want FPS? Got it! Role playing? Got it! Some strategy? Got that too! This game has it all. It is very unique b/c you get to choose one of three endings. Not very linear either as there are always multiple ways to get around a problem. Simply a must have! flame122112 (06/19/03) It is very good for the fact that here we have a game that actually lives up to its PC repuation, and for that I salute you Deus Ex. But the problem you see is that the game is almost, dare I say, too involved? Every step you take determines your next hour of gameplay. If you like games where you have to make constant decisions, then buy it. It really is worth looking at if you don't. Plus, the training program is really fun. It even helps you in other, simpler shooters. I bought it for around 8 bucks including s+h ;) Recommended by ¤I§®Æ£_ÇHÅا¤K-Rock, 12/25/2004.

Gran Turismo 3: A-SpecBy Sony. Description Obsessively technical. Meticulously refined. Viciously fast. More time and effort went into developing the front left tire of a single Gran Tourismo 3 car than went into your car's entire engine. Photo-realistic graphics blur the line between game and reality. Precise calculated physics are designed according to each car's real-life counterpart. Advanced opponent behavior intensifies every move. Whether it's heat rising off the tarmac, blinding sun glare, or hazy smoke, the track is yours to conquer. Take on the fervent Arcade Mode with blazing speeds, an advanced Rally Mode or the passionately customizable Simulation Mode. Discover why GT3 delivers capabilities beyone any game. fav reviews: semi_buff (12/05/03) If you like your race games were all you have to do is mash the throttle button down and shoot other car out of the way, then this is not a game for you. But if you like games that have a need for a "realistic racing skill" ... then this game ROCKS. This is by far, my favorite Playstion game. When I first got the game, I thought the arcade mode was good, but not great. But the simulation mode where you have to get your liscence, start out with a small, cheap car, in order to win enough prize money for better cars, that you will need to customize in order to compete with, is addictive as hell. I've owned this game a while now and I'm only about half way through my amature races at this point. Meaning it's not something you grow bored of in 2 weeks, like a lot of video games on the market today, that are marketed for young kids. And I love the fact that you can watch a realistic replay of your previous race if you want to and shut if off if you don't. Get it, you won't be sorry. shrubtroll (07/13/03) Very impressive racing game. Super high realism is a pro and con for this one. On the one hand, it is RELIGIOUS about vehicle accuracy in what they can and cannot do, which is a rush once you learn to play, but it is not a pick up and play game. The cars all handle like real race cars, so on the street they would be unreal, on the track at top out, they handle realistically, so you need a very fine touch to make them really fly. If you love realism, and I mean love, get it first and you will love it forever, if you like more amiable control systems, you might make this one a second draft pick. Very very good, just not to my taste personally. I've been a big fan of watching Gran Turismo and its evolutions. 4's coming out soon, but I'll start with 3. So far the gameplay is great. Bought for $6 includng s+h through ebay's half.com. Recommended by ¤I§®Æ£_ÇHÅا¤K-Rock, 12/25/2004.

Midnight Club IIBy Take Two. Description The sequel to the hottest street racing game ever, MIDNIGHT CLUB II has even more thrills than the original. From atop a powerful motorcycle or within a high-performance sports car, you'll take to the main roads and back alleys of Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Paris. The action takes place late at night after the law-abiding citizens have crawled off to bed, so feel free to rev it up and let it fly. MIDNIGHT CLUB II brings astounding 3D graphics to the table, and the racing physics will have you feeling the g-forces. Better buckle that seat belt. fav reviews: tjbuyers (01/04/04) A terrific racing game, it gives a great intoduction to things like turbo and weight transfer. It has great characters like moses and gina. It's fun cruising around the city and online play is limitless. The only con of this game is the motorcycles, they are too hard to handle. If you want a good racing game, this and atv offroad fury 2 are a must. Online games are the future, so you'll need games like this. fran6660 (05/26/03) This game is SWEET! If you love driving games(GT3,etc,)you'll love this one! This game has awesome graphics, flawless gameplay, and you get nos!!(Finally!!!!) The idea behind SST is kool and uniqe. And even some of the cars look like real cars.(The yellow car you get from Maria looks like an Acura Integra!) THE FLAWS: It was hard to find any huge flaws, but I managed. The music was only so-so, no big deal though. The one thing that really got to me was that the rims(wheels)don't spin! Why??? That's really weird. You'd think they would, but if you look closely, they don't. What will be, will be, I guess. THE VERDICT: I'd give this game a 5 out of 5! This game, like I said before, is SWEET!! I like street racing, pink slips, all of it. This game is cool. Got it NIP for 1.25, plus 10 for s+h. Recommended by ¤I§®Æ£_ÇHÅا¤K-Rock, 12/25/2004.

Monopoly PartyBy Atari. Description You don't have to be a billionaire to succeed at this real estate game. Based on the classicboard game which challenges you to acquire as much money and property as you can get your grubby mitts on, MONOPOLY PARTY adds a bit of frenzy to the mix, allowing four players to move around the board at the same time. If you think your property's appearance is turning on you, you aren't going crazy; the dynamically changing board will often shift themes from outer space, to ancient Egypt, to medieval times, and more. 3D graphics further enhance this wild experience. $20 but worth it to me.
