AL-Miss University of AL-Birmingham-Ashley Davis-Ashley will represent her school on her 1st trip to the Miss AL next June. She is a vocalist. The RU's were: 1st-Emily Latta (Community Service winner), 2nd RU-Tyra Williams, 3rd-Ashley Quick, and 4th Amanad Allen. The talent winner was Stephanie Davis.

AZ-Miss Yuma County-Antigone Mitchell-Antigone won her 1st trip to the Miss AZ pageant.

CT-Miss Bristol-Nicole Paquett-Nicole will be returning for her second change at the Miss CT title. She is a vocalist and her platform concerns School Bullying: Awareness and Prevention.

DE-Miss Brandywine-Tiffany Petitt-Tiffany won her 2nd trip to the Miss DE pageant. She performed a ballet en point for talent. Her platform concerns Make a Choice to Make a Positive Change in Your Community. The 1st RU was Erin Magnin.

IN-Miss Huntington-Mallory Bunting-Mallory, a high school senior, will represent Huntington next summer at Miss IN. She is a vocalist and and her platform concerns Caring for Children With Childhood Diseases. The 1st RU, Brianne Dubuque, did a skit involving sewing skills. The 2nd RU was Taryn McGuin (vocal) and 3rd RU was Haley Strass (opera). Alli Harris was the Community Service winner. Katie Stam, the reigning Miss IN, fresh back from the filming of the reality series, was on hand to entertain and help emcee the pageant.

KY-Miss Jeffersontown-Holly Gilbert-Holly a two time finisher in the Top 10 at Miss KY won her 3rd trid to the statepageant. She attends Transylvaina University and performed an opera aria for talent. Her platform concerns Gifls Rock! Heping you girls with Self-Esteem, the RU's were Ean Whintey Cox and Kellie Rush.

LA-Miss Natchitoches-City of Lights-Courtney Hayes-Courtney spent Saturday night at Shreveport where she finished at 1st RU and took about a 75 mile trip to Natchitoches, where she won the title for a very busy week-end. She is a vocalist and her platform concerns Hero Inside. This will be her 2nd trip to the state pageant where she finished 4th RU. Erica Durr was also in Shreveport on Saturday night where she was the 4th RU, but came in as 1st RU at City of Lights. Kim Rusley, who competed Saturday night but did not place, was the 2nd RU.

LA-Miss Shreveport-Katherine Putnam-Katherine, who was Top 10 for the last two years, won her 4th trip to the Miss LA pageant. She attends the U of LA-Monroe. She is a pianist and her platform concerns The Miracle of Music. The RU's in 1st to 4th order were: Courtney Hayes-vocal; Lacey Thibodeaux-jazz dance (tied for SS award), Valerie Williams-vocal, and Erica Durr opera. Katherine won the talent award and tied for the SS honor.

MN-Miss Twin Cities-Brooke Gilgariff-Organizers of the Miss Twin City added a surprised 2nd title to the pageant making it a double pagegent. The last years Miss Twin Cities went to on to win the Miss MN title. Tonight's Miss Twin City winner was Brooke Kilgariff, 20, a vocalist. Her platfrom concerns Music: The Building Block of Educcation. Her RU was Kelsey Malecha, a tap dancer. The history making 1st Miss Capital City is Sara Larson. Sara is a vocalist and her platform concerns The Butterfly Effect-Speading Hope through Cancern Research, Her RU was dancer Nadiya Jawachir. Update: The overall talent winner was Brooke Gilgraff. The Twin City Organizations Community Service winner was Tara Greiman.

NE-Miss Omaha-Brittany Jeffers-The 2nd and 3rd RU from last year's state pageants secured return tickets to next summer's state pageant. Devin, who was the 2nd RU this year's pageant, won the Douglas County title. Devin was also NE's rep at the National Sweetheart Pageant where she was 3rd RU and a prelim SS winner. The previous 2 years she had competed in IA and was 2nd RU both years. She is a pianist and attends Creighton University. Her platform concerns Preventing Bullying by Building Self Esteem. Brittany has place and all 4 of her years of competing at Miss NE, in addition to being 3rd RU this year and the Community Service winner, she was 1st RU and a Prelim Talent winner in both '07 and '06, and was Top 10 in 05. She is a vocalist and attends the University of NE. Her platform concerns Self-Esteem. The RU's were Alexis Geist, Ashley Springdale, and Haley Herold. The Community Service winner was Amber Tyler. A total of 13 vied for the 2 crowns.

NJ-Miss Columbus Day-Ashley Shaffer-A newcomer Krysten Gavigan won the Miss Atlantic County title. A veteran, Ashley Shaffer, a vocalist, won the Miss Columbus Day title (Top 10-08, return-07). Ashley attends Maris College and is a vocalist and her platform concerns St Jude's Hospital.

OH-Miss Clayland-Erica Gelhaus-Erica, who was 1st RU and the Winner of the National Sweetheart pageant in 2007, won her 3rd trip to the Miss OH pageant. She was 2nd RU to Miss OH this summer. She attends Otterbien College and is a classical singer. Her platform concerns Turning the pages for Children Literacy. The 1st RU was Starkeisha Coleman.

PA-Miss Armstrong County-Shannon Doyle-After finishing at 1st RU the last two year, Shannon must be thinking will the 3rd time be charmed-actually this will be her 5th try for the title where she has placed every year; along with 1st RU the last 2 years, she was 3rd RU in 06, and Top 10 in 05. Along with being 1st RU last year-she was also a Prelim talent winner. She is a medical student at Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine and she is a tap dancer. Her platform concerns Home Away From Home-Enriching the Lives of Hospitalize Children.

SC-Miss Society Hill-Amanda Barrineau-Amanda won her 1st trip to the state pageant. The 1st RU was Heather Tynall.

TN-Miss Greene County-Brooke Waddell-Brooke, who was 1st at Miss TN and Miss Congeniality for the 2nd year, won her 3rd trip to Miss TN. She was Top 11/Prelim SS/Miss Congeniality at the National Sweetheart pageant. She attends the University of TN-Knoxville and is a vocalist. Her platform concerns Seatbelt Awareness. The 1st RU was Shellie Gibson and the 2nd RU was Teresa Robinson, who was also Miss Congeniality.

TN-Miss Memphis-One of oldest pageant in the Miss TN pageant, Miss Memphis was won by Cyrena Wages. This will be her 1st trip to the Miss TN pageant and won the SS award. The 1st RU, Jennifer McCullough, and the 2nd RU, Ivy Depaw, both played flute for Talent. The 3rd RU, Deanna Clark, is a dancer and the 4th RU, Shelby Smith, is a vocalist. UPDATE: Crynea is 17 and her platform concerns Igniting Political Awarness in Teens.

VA-Miss Hampton University-Shannon Cooper-Shannon will represent her school, a historic black university at the Miss VA pageant.
