Position Title: Instructional Design Specialist
 
Designation: Specialist – Instruction Design (Equivalent to Manager/Sr Manager – depending on experience and profile)
 
Minimum Requirements
Education:  Graduate/Post Graduate (any subject) GNIIT Course /MCSE would be
added advantage / B Ed / M Ed
 
Experience: 6 -7 years total / 3 - 4 – Relevant
 
Knowledge: Understanding Learning Management Systems / Systems thinking / ID theories / ID knowledge/Systems Analysis
 
Skills: Communication - Writing and presentation Training & teaching - preferred Systems thinking
 
Business Understanding: Web based learning / Software understanding / Systems analysis / Multimedia Exposure to UK clients and US clients Media exposure
 
Attitude: Passionate about teaching /training Orientation towards research in related subject Ability to understand client feedback Teamwork
 
Purpose of position:
· Understanding Content and User and Defining solution to work out a web
based instructional or teaching methodology
· Review of work - scripted and productionised (integrated) content on
defined parameters
· Understanding Client requirement from training and business needs
perspective
· Writing proposals
· Provide leadership and Motivate team members to perform effectively.
 
ID is the core around which all learning solutions evolve; hence the position is quite critical in nature. This position is part of our SSG (Senior Specialist Group); a group comprising of functional experts. A typical role performed by ID would be right from defining right kind of solution in the proposal stage to finally working out solution through project group. He would be performing roles of Solution designer, Internal specialist, and External reviewer at different stages of project life cycle.
 
Preferred experience background: e-learning companies / Multimedia / Training / Teaching
 
Compensation: Negotiable; Very competitive.

EDUCATION

o       Minimum of two years of experience developing online courseware in a reputed e-Learning organization such as NIIT, TIS, Mentorix, and so on

2. ROLE: Instructional Design – Project Trainee
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Instructional Strategy
o       Develop scripts and storyboards based on the content outline provided

Interactive Design
o       Work with graphic designer to translate storyboards into multimedia experiences<o:p></o:p>

o       Review storyboards and documents for language errors

SKILLS
o       Expert in English language<o:p></o:p>

o       Experience in journalism, advertisement, or mass communication will be an added advantage<o:p></o:p>

EDUCATION
o       Any Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Journalism or education; Master’s degree a plus
