1957 - and the Queen's devastating prophecy
"Far more interesting than the Queen's worthily dull 2007 Christmas broadcast was the 1957 version, now available on YouTube. I am amazed this subversive material has survived.
She managed to make a devastating prophecy about the death of morals and the collapse of integrity which were about to engulf us.
And imagine anyone daring to quote from The Pilgrim's Progress today, when everyone thinks Vanity Fair is a magazine."

Although a promoter of democracy rather than that of hereditary rule, symbolic or otherwise, Integrity takes cognisance of every standpoint.
When a supporter and member of Integrity sent me this excerpt I had to acknowledge the appropriateness, if that is the correct word of the quotation.
Of course the royal patron was referring to integrity as a quality and not to Integrity as a political or philosophic movement as that was
not around at the time. It is nevertheless a very synchronistic relationship of ideas for which we say thank you madam, and thank you to the member who supplied the information.
