As my PRECIOUS JESUS hung on the cross to make a way for you and I to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, I'm sure the day looked like the picture above. With black clouds swarming around, the wind howling, with thunder louder than Niagara Fall's and the lightening cracking across the sky like huge bolts of electricity.
Jesus said in John Chapter-15 Verse-12: "This is my commandment, That ye Love one another, as I have Loved you."
As I look at this picture it makes me think about the Love Jesus has for us. I think of my Love for my wife and children.
But how many have the Love Jesus is talking about? How far would we go for our neighbor? Well, think about it.
I think of the men and women that have put their life in harms way over the years and thousands who have lost their lives for us. Today there are those putting their life on the line for you and I. Keeping us safe so we are free to do whatever we like. To worship in the manner we choose.
Because of those willing to step up and take their place to defend our country, I can sit here at my desk and write to you.
I pray to my precious Jesus to bring our troops home, to end this war, to give us peace and harmony with one another. I ask all to join me in praying for peace.
Jesus said in Matthew: Chapter-21 Verse-22 “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing ye shall receive.”
I truly believe we have a very short time to bring in those not walking with our Lord Jesus. So I say to you, pick someone to show the way to a better life with Jesus.
No one can pick a better friend to talk things over with than Jesus. There is no need to hold anything back, as Jesus knows all. Jesus can help you through any thing in your life.
Jesus said in John: Chapter-14 Verse-26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
What a powerful tool in Jesus we have to take us through any thing. When we talk to Jesus and believe in Him, the peaceful feeling flowing through us is amazing. I personally never tire of talking with Jesus. But! remember to spend time with Him, telling Him of how thankful you are for Him and all He has done for you. Don’t wait until you have a problem to talk to Him. I think back to times when the only time I got in touch with Jesus was to ask for help with a problem I was having.
You know what I have found out over the years? Obedience is the key. Listen for the directions you are given by the Holy Spirit and obey them.
Jesus said in John: Chapter-13 Verse-34 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye Love one another; as I have Loved you, that ye also Love one another. Verse: 35 “by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have Loved one to another.”
If we follow this commandment Jesus has given to us, think what a wonderful world we would live in.
Let me tell you about my friend Jesus. He is never to busy, He is always there when you call. He will stay and listen to you as long as you need Him, His promises are never broken and His Love is ever lasting.
You know! I’ve been awaken at 3 AM by the Holy Spirit to write on several occasions. I was awaken at 4:30 AM this morning, I’m not sure why at the moment, but one thing is for sure, God has a job for me today. I will wait for His directions and obey His command.
Now that I think about it, I’m sure it was to finish this message and get it out.
Please pray for me as I pray for you.
As always
Stay in Gods care
