What excitement when I opened the Poetry book, “Theatre Of The Mind”, published by Noble House of London, Paris and New York, and the first Poem in the book was the poem that means the most to me. As it was the Poem the Holy Spirit awakened me with on Saturday, November 25, 2000 at 3:00 AM. The Holy Spirit woke me from a sound sleep with the words. "A STAR WAS BORN". The Spirit told me to get up and write, I spent 15 or 20 minutes telling the spirit I did not have anything to write. When I finally obeyed the Spirit, and got up and turned on the Computer the words began to flow. When I finished the Poem, I was told to write a Poetry book. The first month the Spirit gave me 75 poems, sometimes as many as 4 in a day. I have received over 200 poems. My book “Poems From The Spirit” Volume 1 has been published.
Noble House had contacted me earlier this year for permission to publish my poetry, but to open “Theatre Of The Mind” and the first poem was... “A Star Was Born” by Jack Hodge. The Adrenalin rushed! What a thrill!
I thank God for allowing me to spread his word through Music, Poetry and my Radio show, Jack Hodge Gospel Show on New Mix 105.5 FM Sunday mornings out of Severville, Tennessee. And now my articles I write for Reaching Out Magazine "Jack's Corner". I have also been published in several book’s with The International Library of Poetry and on “Visions” poetry on CD. Published by American Poets, Famous Poets Society and several others.
