Brad Fitch, Estes Park, Colorado - A Colorado-based songwriter/recording artist, Brad Fitch creates and performs 2nd Generation music in the genre of JD. Lots of free music on the website and a music video if you have broadband or DSL. I wish to thank everyone who attended the John Denver tribute concert, July 29th 2004 at Performance Park in Estes Park, CO. The weather turned out to be excellent, which was a terrific surprise given that we had a week of stormy evenings preceding the event. We actually broke two records on Thursday night. We set a new attendance record in Performance Park, which seats between 500 and 550 people. I understand they stopped counting at 1,000 and there were still perhaps a couple hundred others in the parking lots etc. And the Cultural Arts Council of Estes Park received more donations than ever before. Several people told me they had planned their visits to Estes Park around the concert, so I want to especially thank you folks for coming. I heard that there were people in cars backed up all through town, just trying to get to the Performance Park, and just trying to listen to the concert from the street, since they could not even get close to the park. We are already planning to do another JD tribute concert next summer, so the band will start putting that together next spring. And we will make sure to have more speakers, so that you ALL can hear us.
I want to publicly thank the band: Dan Downs, Bob Buford, Kathy Fitch and Brad Doggett, and our sound man Allen Schell for all of their time spent rehearsing the songs. Thanks also to Chuck Varilek for the rehearsal space, and to Lynda Vogel for organizing and publicizing the event.

Higher Ground Australia - Higher Ground Australia is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the memory of the late John Denver. Each October we meet in a different state of Australia to celebrate the life and music of John Denver, raising money to donate to eagle rehabilitation facilities within Australia in John’s memory. HGA also promotes worthy activities relating to conservation and the environment.

View streaming video of the JOHN DENVER TRIBUTE concert, held in EstesPark, Colorado on July 29, 2004 featuring Brad Fitch. The concert was held in Performance Park and sponsored by the Estes Park Arts Council. The park filled to overflowing and fans filled the parking lot and backed up traffic into downtown Estes Park in an attemp to hear the music.
