HELLO EVERYONE, I AM A NEW MEMBER, BUT HAVE BEEN A ENTHUSATIC JD FAN SINCE 1970 {TELLING MY AGE! OH WELL} I THINK HE DID THE MOST ,HANDS ON, WORK FOR HUMANITY AND THE ENVIORNMENT OF ANY SINGLE ENTERTAINER IN THIS CENTURY. I NEVER HAD THEOPPURNITY TO MEET HIM IN PERSON, BUT I WENT TO HIS CONCERTS, BOUGHT HIS MUSIC, VIDEO'S , MOVIES,TELEVISON APPEARENCES, AND ADMIRED HIM FOR TALENTS AND HIS COMMENTMENTS . HE STOOD-UP AND FOUGHT FOR, SANG FOR AND WORKED FOR THE THINGS THAT HE BELIEVED IN' IN THE WORLD. AND TO ME THAT IS THE TRUE TEST OF A MAN. HIS VALENTINE CONCERT AT HIENDZE HALL IN PITTSBURGH WAS THE LAST TIME I WAS PRIVELIGED TO SEE HIM PERFORM ALIVE. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND RESPECT THE MAN THAT HE IS, FOR AS LONG AS WE CAN KEEP HIS DREAMS AND VISIONS ALIVE HE WILL NEVER DIE. AND I AM PROUD TO BE ENVOULED IN AND ENDEVER THAT BEARS HIS NANE AND HIS CAUSES THAT WE ARE LEFT TO CARRY ON IN HIS TADITIONS. LOVE,JAN

Hi Everyone, I have been a fan of John Denver since the beginning. I saw him in concert six times. Every time was wonderful and magic. I was unable to listen to his music for a long time after he died, but thanks to some friends in the Rocky Mtn High club and also Forever JD club, I was able to listen again. I miss John very much. I need friends who understand how I feel and who feel the same.

I have been a John Denver fan since my early years. It is a love handed down to me frommy mother. I was lucky enough to see him once before he died. My favorite songs-- Falling Leaves and Calypso! Also the Peace Carol on the Muppets CD. I look forward to hearing from any fans out there! Peace Blessings and Song  Marie

Dedication & Tribute Concert<o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p> | <o:p></o:p><o:p></o:p> A celebration to dedicate the memorial will be held at the Austin Nature and Science Center. Activities and displays throughout the Nature Center will feature recorded and live performances of John's music, special events, and a dedication ceremony which will begin at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive early. Admission is free. 
A Tribute Concert celebrating John Denver's music, themed "Life is So Good," will be held in the evening at the Acoustic Cafe. John Adams and Donna Lipman will perform. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the show starts at 6:00. Admissions is $10/person. A full dinner menu and drinks are available for purchase. We hope you will dine in while enjoying the show. Tickets are available at the door or in advance. Seating is limited.
