I am assisting to recruit a Lead Hardware Engineer for a client in
the Santa Barbara, CA area. 

This client is involved in research and development efforts to
produce specialized image processing hardware.

Job Summary
This candidate will lead a team of engineers and provide digital and
analog video design expertise for the design and testing of complex
military/commercial real-time systems.

Job Functions:
As leader of the hardware development team this individual performs
system design, specification development, design trade-off analyses,
mixed signal IC design, and integration and test of real-time
systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 5 to
10 years experience in analog and digital design, US Citizenship
required. Requires good technical writing and oral communication
skills. Requires extensive and diverse knowledge of electronics
including image processing system design, mixed signal IC
development, board design, and hardware/software system integration.
Proficiency with SPICE, VHDL, IC backend tools, ORCAD, PADs, C, and
Pearl is desired.

Add't Requirements:

1.  Must be a US citizen.  A green card or work visa do not qualify.

2.  Must live within 30 miles of Santa Barbara.  Please do not apply

3.  Have a security clearance, or be able to get one.

4.  Have a technical education in either Physics/Computer
Science/Electrical Engineering.
