The Kurdish Scientific and Medical Association (KSMA) is pleased to announce the launch of its scientific and medical E-journal, "*Zanyarin Kurd*", which will be published twice a year starting from October 2004.
This journal will provide a credible academic platform for the publication of articles covering a wide range of scientific and medical disciplines. All issues of the journal will be archived in searchable websites.
The focus of the journal will reflect that of the KSMA and will cover scientific and medical topics written by Kurds and non-Kurds. Of particular interest are those topics that relate to the people and the land of Kurdistan or the Kurdish people in Diaspora.
The editorial board of the journal cordially invites all capable academic, medical and other allied professionals to contribute scholarly written manuscripts in the form of original articles, reviews, letters, views and
announcements.
The formal languages of the Journal will be English and Kurdish (written in any dialects), however, articles written in other languages will be considered (with abstracts in English). Papers can be short or long, and clear instructions for authors are available on the journal's website [

The deadline for submitted papers is 1st August 2004.

Wilo vîrusa "Sasser" ji computer tê avêtin
DORTMUND (amude.com) - Di van rojên dawî de, vîrusek bi navê "Sasser" di rêya internêtê re derbasî computeran dibe û dihêle ew computer bêne vemirandin. Vîrus tenê dikeve wan computeran, ên ku sîstemên Windows XP û Windows 2000 bi kar tînin û "firewall" (dîwarê agir) di wan de tuneye. Malpera Amûdê rêyên avêtina vî vîrusî ji computeran diwesîne:
1. Eger pencereya "System Shutdown" derkeve û dest bi jimartina saniyan ji bo vemirandina computer bike, divê mirov Start bitikîne, pistre RUN (elmanî: Ausführen) û li wê derê shutdown -a binivîsîne û OK bitikîne. Ev yek dihêle ku computer neyê vemirandin.
