A fantastic guide to Kent's sometimes curious customs and fortean folklore, its not wholly based in the paranormal, but focuses more on thecausative factors behind its folklore.. interesting nonetheless.

Primarily focused on 'understanding' ghosts, the bulk of the text comprises some excellent, occasionally spine-tingling testimonials from eye-witnesses; definitely one of my personal faves for reading accounts!

If you are interested in Haunted RAF bases then these books are a must have. BBH served on RAF bases as a Provost Marshall. In these books lie his various researches into the paranormal and correspondances from others who likewise served in the RAF and had first hand experiences with the paranormal.

If you read only one book on mediums read this one. Eddie Burks is an extraordinary medium and this book chronicles a series of investigations in which he participated.

A must read for those interested in Biggin Hill, its history and the strange phenomena surrounding it.

 

This book covers not only the alleged 'hauntings' but delves deep into the history and background.

First published in 1999, an alphabetical round up of some well known and not so well known haunted locations in the county.

Are you interested in the art of healing and the abilities of the Human mind?

 

If so, you will certainly enjoy reading this book.  

 

It begins with the author looking at medical examples of the use of hypnosis, and its application to the healing process.  The book then progresses further into the subject and makes some interesting connections between healing and other phenomena such as Telepathy, PK, mind magic etc.

Good section on 'Real Ghostbusting' which recounts investigations into poltergeist cases.

A critical analysis of the evidence for and against the reality of the Phantom Hitch-hiker Urban Legend. Includes a fairly lengthy and engrossing account of the Bluebell Hill phantom.
