KILRUSH CONNECT WELCOMES YOU

Dolphin trip on a calm summer's day - Leaving Kilrush Marina

Kilrush  - 103 years ago 1905 - The Market Square on a busy day.

Kilrush Market Square 2005 - A century later.

This website was created as a contact and communications portal for current Kilrush residents, those born in Kilrush but now elsewhere, those with roots or ancestors in Kilrush or anyone with an interest in the town of Kilrush, Co. Clare Ireland.

There is no qualification or cost in becoming a member. There are over 300 registered members on the site and many others who read it but are not registered. If you register, you can use the following services on the left hand menu:

  • Try the message board to ask questions or make enquiries. If you are planning a re-union, heading to Kilrush or looking for old friends, we have a great track record on assisting people.
  • Click on the pictures page and select one of the albums to view photos of the town and its people. Some photos go back well over 100 years.
  • Click on the Links page to find out websites for businesses, news, accomodation, things to do etc. in the Kilrush area.
  • Click on any of the other pages to find out more about the town and its people.

As a member you can add your own photos to the website. Remember that each photo of the town and its people is unique. In your photo album at home it may never be seen by many people and one accident can lose that photo forever. Put it up on Kilrush Connect and it can be seen by anyone with an interest in the town and by being saved digitally it is available indefinitively.

Note: I am always interested in receiving news and stories from people that are resident in the town or visiting there. So if you have always wanted to be a journalist, but don't expect to get paid then please take on the role as news correspondent for Kilrush.

Best Regards to all Kilrush Connect members,

Pat Cusack

Founder Kilrush Connect
