Read the true story of a young English boy and his recollection of his life in Kilrush during the late 1940s and 1950s.

Some will argue that there are inaccuracies in the book, but remember what is presented here is a child's recollection of the time, not a historical exercise. It is in seeing the world through the eyes of that child that the book is a fascinating read.

Many argued with the detailed facts of Angela's Ashes, few argued that it was not a good read which accurately summed up that time. Find out more from the author Joe Riley (seen here with Lulu Jensen, last of the Delougherys).

Officially launched at Vandeleur Walled Gardens, Kilrush on Thursday January 22nd 2004.

Available online from http://www.amazon.com , http://www.amazon.co.uk and http://www.barnesandnoble.com.
