Fungal Infection Chinchillas

pics have all been removed as people have been copying and using for own use on their sites, This wee smasher was cleared simply by adding a spoonful of ahtlete's foot powder in her bath. It was caught quickly enough by the observant owner

Prevention better than Cure!!!

A good disinfectant to clean cage and surrounding area is Virkon. 

 vets in US say they havent heard of it and its not sold in US. It may be bought online here Virkon US

Most UK vets have heard of Virkon.

for preventing it happening use Mycil powder as shown below

 

1 tablespoonful in all sandbaths each sand change.

Do not allow chins to share baths if you think you have been in contact with Fur Fungus or related disease Ringworm.
