Kings Clipstone Planning Matters
The Kings Clipstone Community website provides the only open forum where local development proposals can be discussed openly and we hope visitors will find this useful if they wish to formulate personal submissions to NSDC or Notts CC.
Newark and Sherwood District Council, based at Kelham, is the local authority responsible for local planning applications, which are on-line here.
The NSDC Planning Committee normally meets every four weeks. Committee membership, dates of forthcoming meetings, agendas, minutes, reports and committee decisions are available for download here.
Dates for forthcoming meetings:
2007 - 21 August, 18 September, 16 October, 6 November and 4 December.
2008 - 15 January, 12 February, 18 March and 22 April.
(Please note: the agenda for the forthcoming meeting will be available for viewing 5 working days before the date of the relevant committee and committee decisions will be available as soon as possible on the morning of the day after each Committee.)
Notts County Council is based in West Bridgeford, but has a local office in Regent St, Mansfield. It has reponsibilty for planning applications concerning schools, minerals and waste. Their on-line planning summary is here and committee papers are on-line here.

- Proposed industrial and commercial development near homes in Cavendish Park.
Status: Outline planning for 350 homes, with additional industrial units, passed in 1998; application (reserved matters) for design of the units and road layout rejected by NSDC in 2002 but overturned on appeal in 2003. Detailed planning application pending.
