Dark Tower V-Wolves of Calla

By stephen king. This is just to start out this list. if you've read a book (by any author) and want to recommend it... here's the place to do it. Try to leave comment's as to why you liked it or didn't like it, but don't give away the plot. I've read the proof of DT V and I think it's the best DT so far. Fahrenheit 451

By Ray Bradbury.
A book about the future, written in the past. Bittersweet and enthralling.  About a fireman who begins to question his job, and his life. Iwont even try to describe it, I could never do it justice. I read it in one night, then reread it over and over. I suggest it to anyone.

(did i spell fahrenheit correctly? I know theres a "h" in there some where...)

Frankenstein, or, The Modern Prometheus

By Mary W Shelley.

This is the original Frankenstein story written in 1816, and is an extremely good read, the language is a little tough being “proper English” but well worth the effort.

Living Dead in Dallas

By Charlaine Harris.
Sookie Stockhouse is a Telepath whos boyfriend just happens to be a Vampire.

This book and the others in the series are a must read as there is something for everone in them, Telepath's, Vampires, Shapeshifters, WereWolves, and more supernatural beings than you can shake a stick at.

ODD THOMAS

By DEAN KOONTZ.
This is Dean's latest offering which I am reading at the moment.

It's a great read !

Odd Thomas sees the dead, and the story revolves around him 2 mass murderers, lots of bodies, and his attempt to catch them.

Well worth a read and in keeping with his renown as a good author !

Pet Semetary

By King.

Reaper Man

By Terry Pratchett.
Well, I'm not sure if non-horror books are allowed here, but this's definitely a great read. I guess some of you might have already read some ofTerry P.'s Discworld series (not really a series because each book has a different story). Nice, aren't they? Okay, in this book, the most frequently appeared character in Discworld books, Death goes missing. Everything goes wrong with his absent - a wizard who was dead but still alive, disaster in the city with strange ALIVE trolleys moving about, a tall stranger with a scythe on a little farm, ... Again, it's comical and captivating, and with an ending that leaves a sort of feeling in you. Discworld books are one of the things to read before you die.
