  • Port Gamble "Historic Port Gamble" walk
    • Walk distance:  5K and 10K
    • Walk rating: 2+
    • Start location:  Port Gamble General Store
    • Directions:  Port Gamble is on SR104.
        • From the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry:   Follow SR104 through Kingston. In about  three miles, at the second stop light, by the TEXACO Station, stay on SR104 as it turns RIGHT toward Port Gamble and the Hood Canal Bridge. In Port Gamble, as SR104 curves sharply to the left, go STRAIGHT. The General Store is on the right.
        • From the south:  Take SR3 in the direction of the HOOD CANAL BRIDGE, do NOT turn left onto the Bridge, but continue STRAIGHT on SR104 into Port Gamble. When SR104 curves sharply to the right, turn LEFT into the town. The General Store is on the right.
        • From the Olympic Peninsula:  Take US 101 to where it intersects with SR104 and follow SR104 over the HOOD CANAL BRIDGE and at the Stop Light turn LEFT, staying on SR104.

      • Wheelchairs:  Not suitable
      • Walk description:  Historic Port Gamble offers a view of an authentic northwestern lumber mill town and port. The walk takes you through this small village, where you may enjoy many shops and a fine museum. A large segment of the walk includes a portion of the former tree farm.
