You will need a graphic of a decorated Christmas Tree, an animation of your choice to go in the bauble  and a bauble, three brushes - all the supplies I used and a few more  are here in this zip.

The quality of the above graphic is reduced somewhat as I have tried to save on loading time!!

  1. Take your graphic and Promote to Background Layer.
  2. Resize Canvas - Add about two hundred pixels to the left and right and about 50 to the top and bottom - doesn't matter on position of your picture as we will move it next. It is up to you how much space you have around your picture but you need enough on the left hand side for your brushes and text. Press ok. You need a fairly large graphic in order to be able to see your animation in the bauble at the end - if it is too small you will lose it!
  3. If you are happy with your canvas size then move your picture over to the right
  4. Add a New Raster Layer
  5. Fill with a gradient of your choice - pick two colours out of your picture and they will blend in nicely.
  6. Send your gradient Layer Arrange To Bottom
  7. Add a new layer
  8. If you are using the brushes I have supplied then ensure you have imported them in to Paint Shop Pro.Then go to your Paint Brush and choose LDD Scan Square brush go to your gradient settings and invert the colours and then place your brush to the left of your picture but make sure your gradient layer is the active layer.
  9. Then go to Effects, FM Tile Tools_Blend Emboss and change intensity to 1.000
  10. Add a New Raster Layer
  11. Choose a different Paint Brush - this time I used DMS texture 2 - invert your gradient again and place centrally over the brush you used before
  12. Then go to Effects, Edges, Enhance Edges More
  13. Then add another New Raster Layer
  14. This time I used Paint Brush Shapes1 bp002 with a gold pattern as my foreground place this above the two brushes you used previously.
  15. Add a Drop Shadow 1,1,100,5
  16. Then Layer Duplicate and then Flip - if you are using your own brushes then just do your own thing for steps 8 - 16.
  17. Now Select your photo Layer and then duplicate it
  18. Resize 80% make sure all layers is UNCHECKED and then move it into the middle of the picture beneath it.
  19. Select the larger of the two photo layers and then add Gaussian Blur of 5
  20. Go up to your top layer and Move the graphic so it is central over the blurred image.
  21. Select All Float Selection Defloat Selection I.C.NET Software >_Filters Unlimited 2.0
  22. SelectNone Edges - use which ever one you like I used 17.
  23. Deselect
  24. Here is what your graphic should look like at this point
    .
  25. At this stage all your layers are separate so make sure that you are happy with the positioning of everything and then merge visible and save.
  26. Now add your text and position it - I used the same drop shadow as previously
  27. Add your watermark
  28. Now Add Borders in your dark colour of 3 pixels
  29. AddBorders 3 in your light colour and then
  30. AddBorders 1 in black.
  31. If you are happy with your image - Save as a jpg
  32. Open Animation shop and open your graphic you just made, plus the bauble image and the animation you wish to use.
  33. You will need to resize your animation and bauble so that they are the right size to fit on the tree. I copied one frame and pasted it on to the tree to see how much it needed resizing - you may need to do this a few times before you get the size right. Just keep pressing undo until you get it right - once your are sure that your sizes are right we can put it all together. For both of my animations I resized the bauble to 20% of it's original size. The Santa animation was only reduced a little bit as it was quite small to start with. The snowman I reduced to 30% of it's original size.
  34. Go to your animation that you wish to place inside the bauble - check how many frames there are - go back to your image you just made in PSP and select the frame and copy and paste it so that you have the same amount of frames as in your animation. Do the same for your globe. Now you have three animations - all with the same amount of frames.
  35. The first thing we need to do is put the animation on to the canvas you made. Ctrl A the animation frames to select them all. Then press Ctrl C to Copy. Then go to your canvas and Ctrl A all the canvas frames there. Then Ctrl E to paste into Selected Frames. Now position your animation over your bauble.
  36. Now we need to do the same with the bauble. Ctrl A the bauble frames to select them all. Then press Ctrl C to Copy. Then go to your canvas and Ctrl A all the canvas frames there. Then Ctrl E to paste into Selected Frames. Now position your bauble over your animation
