Here we go....

Materials: Animation Shop and  PSP7 or PSP 8

Right click and save this image as a gif

  1. Click on menu "Animation" => Insert Frames => Empty = Before Frame: 8
  2. Click OK. A new empty frame will appear as your last animation frame
  3. Click 'Ctl A' to select all of your frames then 'shift x' to export to your PSP programme
  4. The frames should all now be open in your PSP programme. (You may have to wait about 30seconds depending on the speed of your pc)
  5. Make your layer 8 your active layer by clicking on it on your layer palette
  6. Click on your text tool and type your text - in the font and colour you like. Add any tubes or decorations that you wish.
  7. Whilst your text is still selected Image => Rotate with the settings "Left", "Free" and put the value 5%. Click OK
  8. Use your mover tool to position your text over your yellow Postit note - Ensure it does not overlap the yellow onto the white. At this stage you are just making sure that your text is the right size, not really positioning it.
  9. Remove the selection Selection => Select None
  10. If you are using PSP 7 - Click the x on the top right of your image with the name inserted, click "Yes"

The frames will reopen in Animation Shop

If you are using PSP 8 - Close the image and save as psp image (F12) - then return to Animation shop and reopen this newly saved image (you can save your blank Postit to use for a new graphic)

  11. Go to your last frame
  12. Click on the last frame with the text then go to the menu "Edit" click "Propagate Paste" Click again on menu "Edit " and now click "Copy" (if you can not click on propogate paste, go back into PSP and close your image there, then return to Animation Shop)
  13. Click on the frame with your text and without letting go of the mouse button drag the text up to first frame of the Postit note and position the text where you would like it. Ensure that it does not overlap the yellow on to the white in any of the frames.
  14. When you release the mouse button your text will appear on each of the frames
  15. If you are unhappy with your text position click Ctl Z to undo and then repeat step 13 again until you are satisfied.
  16. When you are happy then save your graphic and have fun!!
