You may not copy this tutorial but are welcome to link to it from your own group or site. Thanks. For this tutorial I used Paint Shop Pro 9 I searched and searched for a graffiti type tutorial and couldn't find one so I made my own!!! Good Luck You will need some graffiti fonts - there are loads free - just go to google and search for Free Graffiti Fonts and download them. Open new canvas 600 x 400 Fill with a colour you want to use for your background I used #c0c0c0 Then go to Effects, Texture Effects, Texture and choose a texture - I chose Brick Wall 2. Promote your background to a layer Then go to your text tool and choose a graffiti style font I used Writers for my main text. Create your text as a vector - use any colour or gradient for your background and a dark grey for your foreground. Stretch your text out against the wall. Convert to raster layer and use gaussian blur at 1 Change foreground and background to black. Type the same word again in black and stretch it over your gradient text - doesn't need to fit exactly but almost! Then move it over to the left and down slightly. Then move the layer down under your gradient text. You can still move it around as you like until you are happy. Then merge both text layers. Then go to Effects, Texture Effects, Texture and choose the same texture as previously - I chose Brick Wall 2. Now your paint work has taken on the wall texture. Now add some more text in the same way using smaller and different fonts - different colours etc., and adding the same texture to each layer. Add some brushes, tubes whatever - just have fun!
