Hello and welcome to L4G mailing list!

L4G stands for “Languages for Games” and  “Localisation for games” and even “Love for Games”.

I have invited different professionals to join this list: game developers, game publishers, translators, localisation managers, lecturers, localisation vendors, etc. If your are interested in entertainment software accross frontiers, this is your list.

I suggest that we use English as lingua franca, but I hope that people from all countries participate in discussions, and/or quote examples (with “back translations” if needed) so everybody can join the dialogue.

L4G mailing list could also offer help with difficult translations, finding translators for your project or guest speakers for your seminars, checking the translatability of ideas and games, clarifying doubts about software and hardware, getting you to the next level of a game...
