On 11/24/1997 I underwent surgery at the  MGH  Residents' Clinic, a  facelift & lower blephroplasty, and 8 weeks later, a rhinoplasty .  Massive swelling  after the nose job, supervised by Dr. Joel Feldman,  permanently damaged all soft tissue involved in the face/neck lift, and left my face a hanging sack of flesh, stretched and detached from the underlying muscles. I trusted the esteemed senior surgeons at MGH  when they said  8 weeks was sufficient time between operations.  I now know that these same doctors would never subject one of their private patients to operations within this imprudent time frame, yet they did not  think twice of doing it to me.  I was a human guinea pig.  In the duplicitous setting of the major teaching hospital,  even the most meticulous Chief Resident is forced by his superiors to useexperimental techniques without knowledge or consent of the patient.  This is the way young doctors are taught to lie.  I witnessed it for myself and live with the consequences.   

These pages hold the devastating tale of my life altering experience with cosmetic surgery and a corruption within the medical profession that I never would have believed existed without having personally suffered from its blatant conspiracy and deceit. From the frying pan into the fire, in April 2001, I went to Indianapolis where Dr. Barry Eppley performed a "revision" facelift to re-establish adhesion of  the detached soft tissue. I awoke from this operation, with  my tongue blocking my airway, constant pain & pressure in my ears, tinnitus, inability to lift my head or close my mouth,  difficulty breathing and swallowing.  Seven years later, these problems have progressed to a degree which threatens my ability to survive.   Photos: Dr. Eppley's Neck Gridlock   Dr. Eppley's operation destroyed my health and my life. Dr. Eppley's outright negligence has condemned me to a  prison of physical pain and disability beyond anything  I could have imagined.   If you think the horror stories only happen to other people, think again.  I was one of the most well informed patients these doctors ever had.. the "perfect candidate"..
