Sisters, I was elected as Delegate to the Triennial Convention 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah/ With the help of God, your prayers and support, I hope to represent you well as women of Region 9 Caribbean Synod. If you have ideas that will help us fortify or strengthen our units, feel free to contact me and we will evaluate them in order to present them at this next convention with the help of God
Our goals for this year and the next coming years are to: fortify the units; develop activities where the young women will join us. One of our themes this year will be to be adopted by the young women of our congregation. Young Woman, pick a woman to mentor. We are counting on you.
The Mission Investment Fund is motivating us to open an account with them for our trip to the Triennial 2008 and they will match our funds. We will give you more details on this later. Let’s join and achieve this goal, as well as, take a large group of women by doing activities in our churches.
The purpose of the experience in all conventions is to develop Spiritual growth, here we learn to respond boldly to God’s calling through workshops and devotions giving us the opportunity to establish and reinforce ties to our sisters becoming one in Christ.
Let’s evaluate the alternatives to fortify and for grot hog our organization and put our heart into educating raising healthy women and girls; for this reason I ask you sisters to participate, take time out to profound in us, to feel responsible for the world and it’s needs and especially for our youth which is tomorrow’s future, working on our Christian discipleship to serve.
Sisters maintain your commitment to grow in faith, affirm our , and support one another with the help of God
Fraternally in Christ,
Lydia E Dávila
