This is my John Schneider page
John Richard Schneider was born April 8, 1960 in Mt. Kisco, New York. He is an Aries, with his birthstone being Diamond, and the flowers for April being Sweetpea & Daisy. He is married and has three children (last I heard).
He had an "if you blink you missed me role" in "Smokey & The Bandit". For anyone that has seen the movie, do you know what part of the movie you see him? I purposely taped the movie at the time just to watch for him! I did find him eventually.
John played "Bo Duke" on the "Dukes of Hazzard" in the '80's, more recently he was "Daniel Simon" on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and now plays "Jonathan Kent", Clark Kent's father on "Smallville".
I had the oppurtunity to meet him one summer day in July 1987 at a concert he did up here in Ontario, which was also a part of a Monster Truck show. The concert was up north of Toronto, at a motor speedway in Orillia. I managed to get up enough courage to go up him three times that day, for me that was a challenge because I am rather shy. When he first came out I managed to see him and get his autograph, then later when he went to get in one of the "monster trucks" (it might have been an intermission) I went up to him and asked him a question about something I had heard about Tom Wopat (I was trying to think of some excuse to go up and talk to him). Then at the end when he actually came out to sign autographs, I went up to him again and got another one for a friend of mine. That at the time was the biggest thrill of my life, actually meeting one of my heartthrobs.
