Please read this page entirely before you apply for your PC Code and refer to this page for Rules. Feel free to PRINT this page for reference.
There are Terms of Use - if broken your PC code will be revoked.
Here is how it works. You may add a link to your Public or Public/Restricted, General or Mature rated group at the very bottom of your posts in your Signature line only. You must get a Permission Code (PC code) first. *Private or Adult groups cannot have PC Codes, this is because we can't join and check out all the private groups, and obviously we don't allow adult links anywhere, so please don't apply for a pc code if your group is private or adult. If we get the adult warning page or 'this is a members only area' page when we check - and we will! - your pc code will be revoked if you managed to get one. Please don't change your group to public to get a pc code then change it back, that is rude and you could lose your Membership here as well if we find out you did that just to get a pc code. Please show us respect for allowing this extra linking and exposure for qualifying groups. We may allow Private groups to get PC Codes in the near future! **Most brand new or very recently created groups will not qualify to get a PC Code. This will depend on content and activity showing at the time your request is made. If denied for this reason, you're welcome to request again later.
1. You may add a text link (maximum font size 3) or image in your Signature line (button/siggy/blinkie) as long as you are not adding it in message 1 (when you start a new thread) Use them in any other post anywhere in MHM. Here are some Examples of allowed Signatures:
TEXT LINKS: A text link could look like one of these. Don't overlook the effectiveness of text links :)

PERSONAL SIGGIES/ TAGS: If you use a personal siggy/tag to link to your group, and that siggy does not have anything about your group on it except your name and "manager of (name of group)" or "assistant manager of (name of group)", you can use any size siggy you want up to 400 x 400 - How cool is that? :-) Just remember the usual rules: don't use any copyright no no's or adult things on your siggy/tag, please give credit to artists, and include your pc code under your siggy! Sample:

SMALL BUTTONS: Here is the max size your button can be. (max 150 width and max 75 height)

You may request a button here if you need one. Some things to remember: Your pc code must show under or on the button. The only things you should have on the button is your name, group name and url and any images of your choice / textures, backgrounds, tubes etc. Do decorate them however you want, but remember - no promotional statements on them. Please do not include anything "flashing" except on edges of blinkies, use animations and sparkles sparingly Keep all buttons/siggies simple & LOW KEY - meaning not a bunch of sparkles, animations or flashing! Blinkies are OK and some animation, sparkles are OK, but please don't go overboard with attention grabbing sparkles/flashing. Don't post a button AND text link, use one or the other. ONE link per post... if you have more than one group and more than one PC code, just use one per post.
2. Don't add any Promotional statements such as "Join us!" "Check us out"
"Looking for members" etc. Those still only belong on the Promotions Board .
Don't use this as a way of directing someone who has asked for help that can be handled in MHM, such as Group related questions. This means if someone asks, for example how to add counters, don't link them to your own group that has info on adding counters - That's the fastest way to get your PC code revoked, lol Seriously though, please respect MHM and not redirect people to other groups when they can get the same help and answers here, we appreciate it!
We WANT you all to have and enjoy the extra exposure that PC Codes provide, we just don't want to see this being abused, ok? Thanks to all of you who have been using the codes correctly. If anyone has any questions now or anytime about the PC Codes, if you want us to check a button etc to see if its ok to use, etc... please don't ask on the General Board, ask on the Staff Board. If you have rated your group Mature, that means you are allowed to have Mature content, but not Adult content (sexually explicit messages, graphics, private parts showing, sexual content/language) That would make your group actually ADULT and not Mature, therefore we cannot give a PC code for the group. NOTE: If your group rating ever changes to Adult or Private, please do not use your PC code again. Let us know so we can free up that # for another member. If we find adult content or links in your group, or anything that promotes hate, crime or violence, or if we find your group private, your PC code will be denied or revoked. We reserve the right to delete any post at any time if we feel the post or button/siggy violates the pc code rules in any way. Ready for this great chance to get lots of extra exposure for your group? :) Follow the Instructions below to request your PC Code if you agree with the Rules. Your request will be sent to us privately and you will receive your PC Code privately. Your PC Code is only for the specific group you apply for. If you have more than one group you will have separate PC codes for each. We'll come view your group to be sure it does not have any adult links or content, and that it doesnt have any obvious illegal or hate material, illegal downloads, underage 'rate me' pics or other content that promotes hate or violence, or otherwise obviously violates MSN's CoC/Tou. If your group looks okay after our brief look around, we'll email you your PC Code and you can start using it right away.
