On September 11, 2001, our nation suffered one of its greatest tragedies.
We honor here the memory of lives lost and of lives changed,
as we the people, by the grace of God,
begin to recover from the events of that infamous day.

And which in His time, will quench the thirst of those who would seek after justice.
Family, friends and neighbors take on a new and deeper importance in our lives, companions on this earthly path, which for all, leads to eternity.
We wish them well, and farewell, with greater love and sincerity, knowing this time could be the last.
.
But have we become certain that with prayer, vigilance, attention to spiritual duties, acts of charity and forgiveness, we need not live in fear of sudden death from whatever cause...?
red white and blue

the colors of freedom become our fashion.
WE CLOTHE OURSELVES, OUR HOMES, OUR CARS AND OUR LAND
WITH THE bANNER OF MARTYRS, THE CLOAK OF THE INNOCENTS LOST.
THE COLORS OF LIBERTY LIGHT OUR WAY OUT OF THE DARKNESS.
ON THIS FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF 9-11, LET US REMEMBER . . .
patriotism is not to be based upon a blind belief that we have no need to change.
. . . for god has his ways of showing us
where and how that change must take place . . .
But rather that our love for america and her people, rests on the belief that these changes are more likely to occur here than anywhere else in the world.
We know what we have lost . . .
but not yet what we may find.
