My dear Ones ~

So now you’ve done it, haven’t you and aren’t you just a great bunch.
How many years has it been that you’ve been on the case of Atlantic Records to get Photograph released and now you’ve won!

For me it is pure joy and vindication to have all of this creation available in this high quality re-release.
It was a powerful time for me creatively and so much of it was never heard. Even by me. I sobbed for all of that life force in music seemingly gone and then magically resurrected to become Photograph Double Exposure.

We have special people at Rhino and Warners to thank. Without the efforts of Cheryl Pawelski and Steve Woolard these songs wouldn’t have surfaced in such magnificence.
Yes yes I am fond of the word magnificent, it’s an old word, it’s a good old word, in all its forms:
It reminds me of all that is noble and true,
it reminds me of you
