Michael and Martha Volker of Krotz Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Thibodeaux, to Russell Wayne Guillory. The prospective groom is the son of George and Dorene Guillory of Melville.

Marriage vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. April 9, 2005, in the Melville United Methodist Church during a double-ring ceremony. A reception will follow in the Melville Civic Center.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Hudspeth Ducote of Rosa and the late Leroy Ducote, and the late Horace Thibodeaux.  She is a graduate of Port Barre High School.

Mr. Guillory is the grandson of the late Wilbert and Pearl Mouille, the late Bertha Johnson and the late Israel Geeary.  He is a graduate of North Central High School and Local 198 Apprentice Program, where he is now an instructor. Mr. Guillory is a member of Local 198 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters. He is employed by Bernhard of Baton Rouge.
