Mrs. Virginia Louise Wilson, 69, a native of Melville, resident of Baton Rouge and a longtime
resident of Opelousas, died at 11 p.m. Monday, March 22, 1999, in Baton Rouge. She was a former security guard with Tide State Security and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. Survivors include: a daughter, Adrianne Everette and fiance' Charles Houghton of Gonzales; a son and daughter-in-law, Rickey K. Sr. and Gwen Colligan of Baton Rouge; six sisters, Vivian Goldman of New York, NY, Shirley Howerton of Athol, Idaho, Bennie Ruby Ellis of Krotz Springs, Betty Ann Crawford and Linda Crawford, both of St. Amant, and Beatrice Babin of Galvez.
Five brothers, Lennan J. Wilson of Baton Rouge, Bobby L. Crawford, William M. Crawford and Thomas Crawford, all of Denham Springs, and Charles H. Crawford of Texarkana, Texas.
Six grandchildren, Dawn Roshto of Walker, Rickey Colligan Jr. of Houma, Brandy Colligan and Candace Champion, both of Baton Rouge, Mistalyn Matte and Adam Temple, both of Gonzales; and a long-time friend and companion, Rena Guillory of Baton Rouge.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Majors Domec, 93, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Pentecostal Church of Melville here with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Domec, a native of Jacoby, Louisiana in Pointe Coupee Parish, and a resident of Covington for the past 11 years, died Sunday, May 2, 1999.
Survivors include: two sons, John D. Domec Jr. and Wallace L. Domec; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Domec was preceded in death by her parents, Johnson Lee and Ophelia Adams Majors; her husband, John D. Domec Sr.; a brother, Rev. Floyd E. Majors; and a sister, Olga M. Day.
Funeral services for Mr. Russel Boudreaux, 39, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Baptist Cemetery. Bishop Sagona will officiate. Mr. Boudreaux, a resident of Melville, died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 1998, in Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Savoie Ryder of Melville; his former wife, Darlene Savant
of Melville; a son, Rusty Boudreaux of Melville; three brothers, Larry Dale Boudreaux of
Melville, Jeff Lee Boudreaux of Cumming, Ga., and Wallace Luther Boudreaux Jr. of Gainesville,
Ga.; and a sister, Sheila Smathers of Melville. Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Luther Boudreaux Sr.
Funeral services for Miss Seraphine (Phena) Gerace, 83, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Catholic Church here with burial in St. John Cemetery. Miss Gerace, a resident of Melville, died Monday evening, December 29, 1997, at her residence.
Survivors include: two brothers, Sam Gerace Jr. of Melville and Anthony (Tony) Gerace of
Chalmette; and three sisters, Stella Gerace of Melville, Annie Guerrera of Chalmette and Mary
Galle of Arabi. Miss Gerace was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sarah Maddie Gerace; two brothers, Louis S. and Frank S. Gerace; and two sisters, Rosie Herbert and Josephine Messa.
