Mr. Jill Ferina
To answer your questions, Tony Ferina who owned the store across the street from the Joy theatre was my dad. He died in March 1983. My mother was Ollie (Couvillion) Ferina who passed away New Years morning 2004. She was 91. My grandfather Mr. Jill Ferina as they called him, owned the pop factory.
Joe and Mamie Artall are both deceased. They have a son Jasper who runs the farm on the Krotz Springs road. The Napoli's are all gone. Some are in Baton Rouge. There was also Christine and Helen Roppolo whose father had a store back of town almost in Krotzville. Christine was living in Lafayette and died a few years ago.
Its good hearing from people from the old home town. I think I know your family. The Adams I knew were the Broussard Adams family and the Adams family that Regina and Esther Lee Adams were from.
Thanks again,
Jewel (J. J.) John Ferina
