Metal Gear Solid Original PlayStation Game (European Version)
£29.99
The best game in history - buy it now if you do not already own it!
Stealth is the name of the game here. You play Solid Snake, retired mercenary who has to stop some terrorists and the mighty robot; Metal Gear!

Metal Gear Solid Platinum PlayStation Game (European Version)
£19.99
Because MGS shiffted over 500,000 copies within its first 6 months of being on sale, it was awarded this special Platinum case that only the best PlayStation games get! - It also means the price went down!

Metal Gear Solid Special Missions Add-on disk for PlayStation
£19.99
With 300 extra missions for you to get stuck into, this game is a must for all Metal Gear Solid fans! For the first time ever, play as the Ninja, solve murder mysteries, have photo sessions with Naomi and Mei Ling and practise using just about every weapon Snake ever possesses! This game requires MGS to play.

Also available - Metal Gear Solid Platinum and Special Missions Twin Pack in two different boxed designs. £29.99

Metal Gear Solid PlayStation Game for the US
$35 (approx. US)
I'm a Brit so I've never played this version of the game, but as far as I know it's still the same game where you are Solid Snake and have to stop the terrorists before they launch a nuclear warhead from the massive robot, Metal Gear.

Metal Gear Solid PC Version (Includes Special/VR Missions)
£29.99 / $29.95 (US)
This is the game that you should own if you don't have a PlayStation. It's just about the same as the PS game except the graphics are awesome. Wondering which version you should own? Go to More Madness now and see the debate between the PS and PC version. This game also includes the brilliant Special/VR Missions game that came out earlier for the PS that has 300 missions for Snake to get his venomous fangs into!

Metal Gear Solid VR Missions Add-on disk for PlayStation
$19.95 (US)
The American version of the European Special Missions. VR Missions is the add-on disk that'll allow you to test your skills in 300 more missions using almost every weapon Snake possesses. You can also play as the Ninja for the first time and actually kill Snake. Take part in the murder mystery stages and snap away with your camera at Mei Ling and Naomi Hunter. This add-on disk is a must!

Metal Gear Solid (aka Metal Gear Ghost Babel) for Game Boy Color
£24.99
Arguably the best game for Game Boy Color. Solid Snake is back to stop some more terrorists of a group called Black Chamber and must stop their deadly robot, Metal Gear GANDER. This game is a must for all Game Boy Color owners as the music, story, graphics and gameplay are amazing. Dispite its name, this is a different story to the PS version.

Metal Gear Solid - PlayStation's Greatest Hits
$??
Now, I'm not 100% sure what this is, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the US version of the Euopean "Platinum" range. This is the same old Metal Gear Solid except that becuase it was so successful, it has been given this special box... but that's just what I think.

Metal Gear Solid Integral
Price - Unknown
Metal Gear Solid Integral, I think, is the Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid and Special/VR Missions. However, I could be wrong. Whatever it is, you are no doubtedly Solid Snake and have to stop Metal Gear once again!

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
£39.99 (assumed, although not yet out)
This is the game that most gamers everywhere want to play right now... however it is not even out yet. But on the left is a picture of what the packaging will look like. Ever since Metal Gear Solid was a great hit and ever so popular, Metal Gear Solid 2 has got people across the globe just waiting and waiting for it to come out! Me included. Arguably the best game ever with its already engrosing plot dispite the fatc we haven't even played the whole game yet and has the most incredible graphics a PlayStation 2 game has shown yet. A playable demo of  MGS2 came with ZOE (see below) and by playing it, you can see why MGS2 was E3's game of the year 2 years running!

Metal Gear
Price - Unknown
This is the game that it all started with, although because it came out in 1987 you'd be lucky to find it around now! It came out for the MSX2 and Nintendo NES and was the first game Hideo Kojima made - and was very sucessful. If you don't have an MSX2 or NES, then probably the only way you can play the game now is by downloading an emulator from a website that has one for this game. In this game, you are FOX-HOUND member Solid Snake in his 20s. You must stop a mighty robot called Metal Gear and the man in charge, Big Boss. Destroy Outer Heaven, as you are the only one who really can!

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Price - Unknown
The official sequal to the stunning game Metal Gear. It came out in 1990, so your chances of getting hold of it are pretty slim. It was for the MSX2 system and was once again about taking on the role as Solid Snake and putting a stop to Metal Gear and Big Boss at Zanzibar Land. But this time, you've made a new enemy, Gray Fox. If you're desperate to play this game, there are emulators out there on the Internet that will let you play it on your PC but the true game came out over a decade ago and will probably never be seen again.

 Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge
Price - Unknown
This is what Konami came out with after Metal Gear was such a great success. But becuase it also was the only Metal Gear game to not have Hideo Kojima behind it, it was considered by many to not be as good as its predecessor. The true sequal to Metal Gear which was from Kojima-san, called Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (see above) was considered to be better than Snake's Revenge, but becuase Snake's Revenge is still a Metal Gear game, it is essential to complete a real Metal Gear collector's collection.

Snatcher
Price - Unknown
This game may not have anything to do with Metal Gear Solid, but it was created by Hideo Kojima, the guy behind MGS. I don't know anything about this game though except that it came out on the Sega CD years and years ago, so if you're desperate to find out more, go to a website that can help you!

Policenauts
Price - Unknown
This is another Hideo Kojima created game, but has nothing to do with Metal Gear Solid. But don't you think that the characters on the front of this box look a bit like Liquid Snake and Revolver Ocelot?! Share likenesses don't they? Anyway, I'm no expert at Policenauts so check out a site that is. But one thing, in the Lab where you fight the Ninja, there's a Policenauts poster on the wall...

Zone of the Enders (aka ZOE)
£39.99
The latest game from Kojima-san that only came out a few months ago! As you probably know, the game comes with MGS2 demo, and is in some ways pretty similar... you have to fight - fight in robots (not Metal Gear sadly) but this game is a must for all MGS collectors as it has the charm that all Kojima-san games have!
