The strange thing about all this is that I don’t actually own a Cabrio! However, my partner, Mark Jukes, does, and it’s me that does all the polishing and mucking about  in concours. I also own a  City E ("Mushroom" - well, it's Champagne beige, so you can guess how it got it's name!)and a Japanese spec (press car) Cooper 35LE (Charlie). The Cabrio is called Jordan - because it has it's top off a lot.

We are members of the National Mini Owners Club, Mini Cooper Register and Redditch Mini Owners Club, and being involved with 2 rare models, I’m only to aware of the difficulties owners experience in sourcing parts and information, so it seemed sensible to me to start a register. Hopefully we can provide a central point of contact for owners to share information and also send out please for help!

Hence, the Register was officially launched in the frosty winter of 2005, while any sensible Cabrio was tucked up snuggly in the garage, and I had nothing better to do than write stuff for the NMOC magazine and build a web site. My Autoglym is also hibernating, you see!
