"Like a Butterfly or a Ballerina, a Model's Brilliance
is Often Fleeting."
Susan Slavin Vogue
The great models mirrored much of our social history.
At times, they reflected woman as a stylized sex object and a dependent creature.
In the Sixties and Seventies they began to characterize modern women's striving for
freedom of movement and self-expression. Models have reflected some of the best
and some of the worst in ourselves —our self-deceptions and our dreams,
our petty biases and our ideals."

This group it is all about all of these wonderful people who,as models, are gifted
chameleons and marvelous hard working actors, among other things.
What a shame that anything before a certain date is not entered into the Internet
unless individuals make an effort to record and archive. And yet, any 15-year-old
model/flavor of the minute today can be found simply by typing in her name.
Many of them come and go so quickly with no real body of work left behind to
speak of--compared to the Sixties models who produced large amounts of work.
We are all on a journey. These talented models and sometimes muses have
charted intriguing waters. We love to hear their tales. Moreover, we always
appreciate their brilliant variety of looks. We happen to believe that the sixties
models are the most beautiful, refreshing and inspiring lot in the history of modeling.
We comprehend their significant place in history.
