Rumored to be haunted by members of the Hunter family. Reported phenomenon includes the strong feeling of a presence, the sound of ghostly voices and sightings of apparitions.
History: Built in 1859. It is a State Historic site.

Ghost Light
Farrenburg
The ghost light can supposedly be seen from the old train station along the area of where the tracks once were. The light is said to be the ghost of a decapitated train conductor.

Farrenburg is located off of I-55 between Kewancee and Matthews on County Rd. 707.
