THE NEW LINEUP Joe Herndon, Bruce Williamson, Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, & Otis Willams

The TEMPTATIONS Current Lineup HISTORY Return with New Album in 2006

The Temps, like the mythological phoenix, kept coming back better than ever. Otis Williams, Terry Weeks, Joe Herndon, Ron Tyson, & GC Cameron, its now said that this group of Temptations sounds more like the original CLASSIC 5.

Legendary R&B vocal act the Temptations will release their latest studio album, "Reflections," Jan. 31, 2006 via Universal Music's New Door imprint. The set features 15 new recordings of such Motown staples as "I Hear a Symphony," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "I'll Be There," "Ooo Baby Baby" and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)."

Motown`s legendary Temptations decided to do 'something out of the norm' for their new album -- they decided on 14 songs first recorded by others. Then they would record one that they have written "(REFLECTIONS)".
"Reflections" is rounded out by interpretations of "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)" and "Can I Get a Witness," among others.

It's the follow-up to the Temptations' 2004 effort "Legacy," which debuted at No. 18 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

'That`s one of the things the Tempts have always been, experimental,' says group leader Otis Williams, the sole remaining member of the original lineup. 'We decided ... to sit down and come up with using some great songs from the famous Motown Catalog and put our spin on some iconic kind of songs that have turned out to be such monster standards in their own right.'

"Motown is the soundtrack of our lives," says member Otis Williams in a statement.

‘Reflections’ is the 47th album for The Temptations. The Title Track is a Cover

The title track is a cover of The Supremes 1967 classic. They also cover The Supremes ‘I Hear A Symphony’.
Other tracks include "Can I Get A Witness" (Top 25 for Marvin Gaye in 1963), "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" (Top 10 for Gaye in 1965), "This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You)" (Top 15 for the Isley Brothers in 1966).
Other tracks include ‘Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing’, ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, ‘Ooo Baby Baby’, ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’, ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’, ‘Neither One of Us (Wants To Be The First To Say Goodbye)’, ‘What Becomes of the Broken Hearted’ and a song they originally did with the Supremes back in 1968 called ‘Try It Baby’.‘Reflections’ is the 47th album for The Temptations.

"The Temptations after getting unhappy the way things at Motown were being done, Quote: "It was not about the Music anymore it was all about profit." "There was no heart in what was Recorded half the time." Said Otis W.

The Temptations signed a deal with  Universal Music Enterprises on New Door Records.  New Door Records is a subsidiary of Universal. (I am sorry that MOTOWN didn't have the backbone to standup for what they are all about.) SO NEW DOOR RECORDS able to release 1 hell of a good CD

Universal Music Enterprises & The Temptations
The Temptations have made a deal with Universal Music Enterprises on New Door Records! 1st release, which we are currently recording entitled "Reflections", 15 Motown Classics that The Temptations never got the chance to sing until now.

For the past 40 years the Temptations Manager has been Shelly Berger, Shelly came to Motown in 1966 as Manager of the Temptations. Berry Gory chose Mr. Berger cause of his background managing comedians and other stage acts. Shelly managed Diana Ross & The Supremes also then. Shelly is 67yrs old

Harry "Berry" McGilberry Jr former bass singer of the temptations before Joe Herndon passed away on April 3, 2006 Cause of Death unknown by Otis & STARDIRECTION INC. He was burried the 11th at First African Presbyterian Church 4159 Girard Avenue Philadelphia , PA 19104 ( McGilberry Jr, is formerly of The Futures and of The Temptations.)

George Curtis Cameron left the Temptations after the last show at the end of May 07. Better known as GC Cameron he was not forced to leave, he did on his own to go Solo. This information comes straight from the Tempts Road Managers Office Star Direction Inc. He was also back trouble. They say George Cameron at sometime may return in the near future.

Bruce Williamson has stepped in to take GC's place this happened at the 1st of June he is also Vegas Showman. From what I hear he is HOT.
